About the Author

ADJohnson's journey as a writer began in ninth grade as a member of their high school's Poetry Club. This was where they first learned to share their work and trust the process through workshopping and sharing their pieces in public library readings. These beginnings inspired the start of full-length novels and a hunger for sharpening their craft.

 

They moved on to the University of West Georgia, where they majored in English and double-minored in Creative Writing and Film. They showcased three short stories published in the university's literary magazine, Eclectic, and participated in additional extracurricular writing clubs.

 

With a diverse writing career, including collaborations on a children's book and screenplays, they have finally circled back to their original dream of devoting their talents to becoming a full-time author. Their debut memoir, In-Between, reflects their desire to inspire creativity and healing in others through storytelling.
